It is sad and disgusting that the orissa govt of school and mass education dept has put a dead year to the just demand of block grant teachers who have sacrificed their 25 years of service without any help from the mc or govt/\,although all these schools [1983] were opened as per the guidelines of the govt to receive minimum grant in aid in the year 2000 which would be the amount rs 4800.But the govt citing vague reasons only suppressed the agitation andcheated the teachers by paying only rs1563.However after much agitation from time to time the govt only increased the amount to rs4995 in 2008.Nowhere in any country a secondary school teacher would ever have been paid such a low salary .It is a sheer plunder and exploitation of human resource.Basing upon the fact we should be paid rs20385 in stead of 4995.
